Rev. Bobbie Burris Burcham age 81 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Rev. Burcham was born in Carroll County, Virginia on June 2, 1933 to Wesley R. and Maude Edwards Burcham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Dr. Carnie R. Burcham; Mack Burcham; Friel G. Burcham and newborn twin boys.
He proudly served our country in the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Bryant Burcham of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Cindy and Leon Goad of Hillsville, Virginia; Suzy Sauls of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Jessica Hall and Cody Hall both of Hillsville, Virginia; Holly and Daniel Williams of Galax, Virginia; Jared Perry of Radford, Virginia and Michaela Sauls of Woodlawn, Virginia; great-grandchildren Roman Williams; Jade Williams and Gabriel Taylor; sisters Kathleen Riddle; Florence Lawson and Pearl Bartlett; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Cornerstone Community Church with Tom Hughes officiating.
