Blanche Miller Spivey's Obituary
Blanche Melton Miller Spivey, age 75, of Galax, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at her home. Born May 9, 1932 to William Hall and Emaline Nora Burroughs Melton in Galax, VA, Mrs. Spivey is survived by her husband, Olen W. Spivey, daughter, Blanche Michele Miller Bobbitt, Galax, son, Millard Craig Miller, Jr., Detroit, MI, brother, Woodrow Warren Melton, Galax, special caregiver, Carolyn Byrd and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM, at the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Mt. Vale Cemetery. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Larry Murphy and the Rev. Rick Lindamood. There will be no visitation.
