Billy Rufus Edwards' Obituary
Billy Rufus Edwards age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Edwards was born on September 29, 1936 in Carroll County, Virginia to Calvin Rufus and Pauline White Edwards. In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Joan Edwards.
He is survived by his wife Lalah Edwards; sons and daughter-in-law David and Donna Edwards; Richard Edwards all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Brandon and Nicki Edwards; Cody and Noelle Edwards; Marcus Edwards and Cristie Edwards.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
