Billy T. Nale's Obituary
Billy T. Nale, age 76, of Galax, VA. passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.
Mr. Nale was born Feb. 20, 1933 in Woodlawn, VA to Tom and Mattie Bedsaul Nale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Nale, Galax, son and daughter-in-law, William and Teresa Nale, Galax, granddaughters, Ashley Nale and Lindsey Nale and one sister, Vivian Smith, Orlando, Florida, nephews, Howard Nale, Tommy Anderson and Jack Anderson, nieces, Peggy Sisk and Margaret Eastridge and a world of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Galax, with burial to follow in the Felts Cemetery. The Reverends Kevin Fiorini, James Cowley and Don Fox will be the officiating ministers. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. Military rites will be performed by the Grayson VFW Post #7726.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Twin County Regional Hospital Foundation, 200 Hospital Drive, Galax, VA 24333 or the Chestnut Creek School of the Arts, Junior Appalachian Musicians Program (J.A.M.), City of Galax, C/O Sandra Wilson, 109 King Arthur Court, Galax, VA. 24333
