Billy Wayne Liptrap age 78 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 at his home.

Billy was born in Bath County, Virginia on November 24, 1942 to Warren Berlin and Edna Grace Law Liptrap. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Billy Wayne Liptrap, Jr. and a sister Cary Whittmore.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Reavis Liptrap of Galax, Virginia; son Robert Lee Liptrap of Bath County, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Cody Wyatt; Kim and Darryl McCauley;  son and daughter-in-law Tony and Brenda Felts all of Richmond, Virginia; six grandchildren Bobby Liptrap of Richmond, Virginia; Trey Nichols of San Diego, California; Darek McCauley of Richmond, Virginia; Brittany McCauley of San Diego, California; Steven Taylor of Fort Knox, Kentucky; Jessica Hairfield of Richmond, Virginia and ten great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held in Richmond, Virginia at a later date.
