Billy Glenn Edwards' Obituary
Billy Glenn Edwards age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Edwards was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 27, 1933 to Iver Carl and Ola Thomason Edwards.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Velda Frances Edwards of Galax, Virginia; three sons and daughters-in-law Billy G. and Sandy Edwards, Jr. of Concord, North Carolina; Joe D. and Tammy Edwards of Galax, Virginia; Douglas C. and Sara Edwards of Floyd, Virginia; three grandchildren Joshua W. Edwards; Lakota Hunter and Jermiah Demme; one great-grandchild Destiny Bowers; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
