Billy James Burcham age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 in Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Burcham was born in Grayson County, Va. on September 3, 1936 to James Daniel & Della Mae Willie Burcham. He is survived by his wife Linda Burcham of Galax, Va.; a son & daughter-in-law Kevin & Lynn Burcham of Dobson, North Carolina; sisters & brothers-in-law Irene Spence; Ilene & Granville Mason all of Fries, Va.; Carolyn & Jack Elliott of Walkertown, N.C.; brothers & sisters-in-law Walter & Patricia Burcham of Asheville, N.C.; Paul & Carol Burcham of Galax, Va.; one grandchild; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 25,2008 at 2:00 pm at Snow Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Saddle Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at Snow Hill Baptist Church. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
