Bill Henry Jennings' Obituary
Bill Henry Jennings, 57, of Galax, passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
He is survived by five children: Kathy Phillips of Winston-Salem, NC; Sheila Solis of Galax; Thomas Jennings of Lewisville, NC; Lisa Perez of Mt. Airy, NC; and Billy Ray Thompson of Galax; six sisters: Martha Thornton of Charlotte, NC; Hazel Fergurson of West Sandford, Florida; Leonia McKinney of Galax, VA; Francis Thompson of Elk Creek, VA; Louise Willis and Christine Maxwell both of Galax; four brothers: Leon Jennings of Brooklyn, NY; Lawrence Jennings, Raymond Jennings and Ralph Kyle all of Galax. Nineteen grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Larry Cutler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Interment will follow in the Goins Cemetery.
