Beverly June Hanks' Obituary
Beverly June Hanks age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hanks was born in Independence, Ohio on August 12, 1927 to Kenneth Charles and Pearl Howe Moulton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Gregory Turvey.
She is survived by her husband Billy R. Hanks of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Terry Turvey of Dobson, North Carolina; Linda and Gary Manning of New Vienna, Ohio; Timothy and Tina Hanks; Teresa Hanks and Jennifer Oakley all of Galax, Blake Hanks of Crestview, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara and Dale Warren of Silver Springs, Florida; Bonnie and Dennis Carroll of Tampa, Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Charles Moretz officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
