Betty Sue Dixon Tilley age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Betty was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 26, 1947 to Charlie James and Hazel Billings Dixon.

She is survived by her husband James Paul Tilley of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law; Gary and Nurdal Tilley of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Dennis and Judy Tilley of Galax, Virginia; sisters Mary Martin; Sally Rakes both of Galax, Virginia;  Nancy Salcido of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Alex Dixon of Knoxville Tennessee; Griggs and Trish Dixon of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Alis Tilley and Andrew Tilley of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Ethan Tilley of Galax, Virginia; one great-grandson Jesse James Tilley of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Paula Rakes officiating. There will be a drive thru visitation Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the graveside service at the McKenzie Cemetery.

Due   to CDC recommendations mask and social distancing will be required at the service.
