Betty Lou Thomason Reid age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Reid was born on May 18, 1932, in Galax, Virginia to Leander and Priscilla Inez Baker Thomason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Reid; her son Jerry Davis of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; three brothers Harry Thomason of Norfolk, Virginia; Joe Thomason of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Bobby Thomason of Galax, Virginia; three sisters Mary Hawks of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Helen Thomason and Dorothy Tillotson both of Galax, Virginia.

She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law J.D. and Alice Thomason of Galax, Virginia: several nieces and nephews.

At Mrs. Reid's request there will be no services held at this time.
