Betty Lee Cox Rowe, age 81, of Galax, VA died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.
Mrs. Rowe was born in Carroll County, VA April 23, 1932 to Elmer Eugene and Nannie Jones Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Rowe; son Randall Cox and grandchild, Christopher L. Litteral
She is survived by daughters, Ruth Ellen Cox and Frances Irene Cox Ferguson both of Galax, VA and son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Edward and Cindy Cox of Fries, Va.; grandchildren, Jennifer and Johnny Walker, Heather Cox, Miranda Cox, Justin Cox, Laymon Ferguson and Benjamin Ferguson; great grandchild, Hailey Burcham; sister,
Mable Irene Edwards of Fries, Va.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church on Tuesday with Sherman Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM preceding the funeral service Tuesday at the church.
