Betty Mae Montgomery Roberts age 90 of King, North Carolina passed away Friday, June 14, 2024..

Mrs. Roberts was born in Galax, Virginia on May 9, 1934 to Kelly H. and Eula Norman Montgomery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Roberts and a daughter Patricia Roberts.

She is survived by her daughters Cathy Whitworth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Rita Frye of King North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Sande Roberts of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Broyhill officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 536 South Main Street, King, North Carolina 27021.
