Betty Mae Cox's Obituary
Betty Mae Cox age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday March 23, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Cox was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 23, 1931, to Carlie and Lillian Rakes Petty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Cox.
She is survived by her daughter Margo Semones of Georgetown, South Carolina; three grandchildren Becky Hampton (Robert); Robert Semones; Brooke Jimenez (AJ); seven great-grandchildren Britt (Megan); Bekah (Isaac); Lilianna; Nevaeh; Phoenix; Daniella; Malachi; five great-great-grandchildren; special friend T.F. Rutherford.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM at the residence 212 Parkwood Drive, Galax, Virginia with Elder Don Edwards officiating.
