Betty Ann Horne's Obituary
Betty Ann Horne age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Horne was born on November 18, 1932 in Virginia to Tom & Dora Gullian Proffitt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond H. Horne and her son Stephen Horne.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Shirley & Brady Bryant; Jeanie & Craig Barbrow all of Galax, Va.; grandchildren Charles Galyean; Dereck Galyean; Scott Kegley; Catherine Barbrow; three great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law Henry & Wanda Proffitt; Jackie & Mary Proffitt all of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 3,2010 at 11:00 am in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Bartlett and Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
