Betty Ruth Edwards age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Golden Living Center.
She was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 15, 1931 to Thomas and Alva Horton Wright.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janet and Allen Donithan of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Roger and Paulette Reece of Baltimore, Maryland; Bob and Darlene Reece of Pompano Beach, Florida; five grandchildren Ryan Reece, Shelley Reece Toteres, Shannon Reece, Sarah Hodge, Whitney Donithan and fourteen great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Alice and Eugene McMillan of Hillsville, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Roger Reece and Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will be private for the family only in the Gardner Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
