Betty Ruth Easter's Obituary
Betty Ruth Wheatley Easter age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Easter was born on September 10, 1938 in Grayson County, Virginia to Jessie Frank and Hazel Dowell Wheatley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Ray Easter.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Crystal Sue Wheatley; former daughter-in-law and special friend Missy Wheatley of Sparta, North Carolina; grandchildren Tiffany Wheatley; Cherisa Wheatley; Colt Wheatley; great-grandchildren Alexis Wheatley; Adalyn Wheatley; Braxton Wheatley; nieces and nephew Betty Gilley; Kitty and J.C. Halsey; Mack Worley; many special friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Cowley officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will be at a later date in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
