Betty Jean Davis age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Betty was born in Galax, Virginia on January 20, 1948 to J.K. and Merle Carpenter Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Buddy Davis and Joe Davis.

She is survived by her sister Judy Hackler of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Patty Davis; three nieces Diane Beamer, Kim Stamper and Janna Billings, one nephew Joey Davis all of Galax, Virginia;  great-nephews and girlfriends Nick and Caroline; Matthew; Levi and Hollan;  Brian; J.J.; special caregivers Domonique Reeves and Faith Simmons; special friends the McLean Family and Pat Hall.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the Gladeville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Gladeville United Methodist Church.
