Betty Mae Cox's Obituary
Betty Mae Cox age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 29, 2018 in the Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Miss Cox was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 18, 1932 to Virgil Barnett and Rosa Elizabeth Landreth Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters Bonnie Ayers, Velma Cox, and Nellrena Gonzalez and two brothers Everett Cox and Rennie Cox.
Miss Cox was a member of the River Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by a sister Wilma Boyd of Dublin, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the River Hill Christian Church with Joe Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the River Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the River Hill Christian Church. Family and friends may call at 434 River Hill Road anytime.
