Betty Lou Christman's Obituary
Betty Lou Christman age 73 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 in Waddell Nursing Home.
Betty was born on August 16, 1936 in Grayson County, Va. to Edgar & Fannie King Higgins.
She is survived by her son James Clifton Christman of Galax, Va.; daughters Martha Beck of Mt.Airy, N.C.; Mary Newman of Galax, Va.; brother Bruce Higgins of Galax,Va.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special friend Nancy Lane.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Baywood. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
