Betty Sue Carrico age 77 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Miss Carrico was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 1, 1941 to Wilmer Jay and Ethel Maude Patton Carrico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Lou Delp.

She is survived by her brother Charles Curtis Carrico, Sr. of Galax, Virginia; nephews and wife Charles Curtis Carrico, Jr. and Melissa; Thomas Jay Carrico all of California and a special friend Judy Elliott.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 3:00 PM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Marvin Williams officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
