The following is a courtesy announcement by Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home for the Betty Gale Brown Family:

Betty Gale Brown age 79 of Low Gap, North Carolina went home to be with Jesus Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Betty was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 1, 1943 to Gleaves and Golda Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Tex Brown.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Hershey Flippen of Low Gap, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Terry and Mary Brown of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Juanita Brown of Hillsville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Mt. Olivet Church on Highway 58, Galax, Virginia on Saturday August 20th at 12 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
