Betty Sue Brooms Price age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday February 18, 2021 at her home.

Betty was born in Princeton, West Virginia on September 28, 1949 to Otis Ray and Polly Parks Brooms. She was preceded in death by her father Otis Ray Brooms and a brother William Roy Brooms.

In addition to her mother Polly Parks Brooms of Fries, Virginia, Betty is survived by her husband Roger Lee Price of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Elizabeth Price of Beaumont, Texas; Sharon and Terry Blevins of Galax, Virginia; Roger Lee and Dani Price, Jr of Lake Worth, Florida; Nikki and Jon Long of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Amber Blevins; Avery and Corey Blevins; Alexis Blevins all of Galax, Virginia; Daniel Price of Florida; Aiden Isom; Easton Long and Walker Long both of Galax, Virginia; five great-grandchildren; siblings and spouses Kenny Brooms of Fries, Virginia; Lily and Denny Slate of Austinville, Virginia; Denny and Cindy Brooms of Fries, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at the Fairview Church with Pastor Sam Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Fairview Church.
