Betty P. Brannock's Obituary
Betty Brannock, age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Golden Living Center.
Mrs. Brannock was born in Illinois on July 15, 1927 to Bud and Emma Reed Patterson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brannock.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Buddy & Wanda Brannock; Rusty & Tilley Brannock all of Galax, Va.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; sister Doris Royer of East Bend, N.C. and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:00 am in Snow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ernie Smith and Rev. Eddie Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
