Betty Sue Bobbitt Mabe age 83 of King, North Carolina passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Universal Health Care of King.

Mrs. Bobbitt was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 9, 1938 to Anderson Andrew and Rosa Mae Weatherman Bobbitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Hoover Mabe; two sons Mark Mabe and Mike Mabe; several sisters and brothers.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Joseph Beck of King, North Carolina; son Tim Mabe of Woodlawn, Virginia; one granddaughter Micheala Mabe; daughter-in-law Jacki Mabe both of Tallahassee, Florida; several nieces and nephews; a special friend Harry Patton of Galax, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (Carrollton Pike) with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. Burial will be private for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice, Pilot Mountain, 129 Veterans Drive, Pilot Mountain, North Carolina 27041.
