Bernard Dieter Hellmich, age 64, Woodlawn, VA, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Hellmich was born in Germany July 31, 1949 to Friedrich and Rose Marie Fuchs Hellmich.
He is survived by his wife, Petra Hellmich of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Karl John and Christina Hellmich, Portland, OR, Eric Lee & Eileen Hellmich, Phoenix, AZ; step-sons, Michael and Stephan Schuldt of Germany; mother, Rose Marie Hellmich, Hesperia, CA; brother, Daniel Hellmich, Arizona, Three
grandchildren, Karl, Nicholas and Kalvin.
A graveside service & burial will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, VA, 11:00 AM. Military rites will be performed by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to "Take The Fight" To Cancer, P O Box 20012, Winston-Salem, NC 27120
