Benny Ray Burcham, age 64, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday January 5, 2024 in his home.

Benny was born on September 9, 1959 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Kester Alexander and Allie Mae Galyean Burcham. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Darrell Burcham and Perry Burcham.

He is survived by his long-time companion Edna Darlene Mabry of Galax, Virginia; daughter Shiela Aldred (Sammy Johnson) of Hillsville, Virginia; brothers Dwight Burcham (Terri) of Galax, Virginia and Dale Burcham (Donna) of Galax, Virginia; sister Wanda Brannock of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Savanna Aldred and Jenna Aldred; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
