Benjamin Denton Bond age 84 of Fries,V a. passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 at his home. Mr. Bond was born in Carroll County, Va. on February 11, 1924 to Joe & Pauline Worley Bond. He is survived by his wife Avery Bond of Fries, Va.; sisters Geneva Harris of Galax,Va. and Rita Kane of Fries, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law Otis & Doris Bond; Don & Barbara Bond all of Galax, Va.; Gilmer Bond of Okeechobee, Florida; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday-April 9, 2008 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Roy Taylor & John Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
