Barry Edward King, age 44, of Woodlawn, VA died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Woodlawn.

Mr. King was born Sept. 7, 1964 in Galax, VA to Edward Jewel and Elizabeth Merlene Padget King.

Surviving besides his parents of Woodlawn, VA is one daughter, Kalynn
Wilkenson of Hillsville, VA. Also, surviving is one brother & sister-in-law,, Gary Jewel & Regina King, Barren Springs, VA and two sisters and one brother-in-lw, Joyce Jones & Addison, Austinville, VA and Joy Creed, Galax, one niece and three nephews, special friend,
Teresa Nester, Woodlawn, Va. He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Gene King.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at the First Assembly of God with burial to follow in the King Cemetery. The officiating ministers will be the Rev. Cas Horton and the Rev. Russell Payne. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 6PM until 8:00 PM.
