Barbara June Wright's Obituary
Barbara June Wright age 72 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wright was born in Saltville, Virginia on July 5, 1944 to Robert and Ella Mae Thomason Hawkins.
She is survived by her husband Jack D. Wright; daughters and son-in-law Tammy and Randy Williams; Anita Wright; son Tim Wright all of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Katie Lamb; Kenny Lamb and Savannah Murray; step-grandchild Sonya Carrico; great-grandchildren Saharra Murray and Knox Murray; step-great-grandchildren Farren Sullivan and Arizona Sullivan; sisters and brother-in-law Mary Ellen and James Roberts of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Frances Cox of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Bobby and Nancy Hawkins of Archdale, North Carolina; Cecil and Peggy Hawkins of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
