Barbara Ann Eastridge Tompkins age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Tompkins was born on July 4, 1946 in Carroll County, Virginia to Ocherd Charlie and Eva Bill Combs Eastridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Tompkins.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Deborah and Bennie Davis; Tiffany and Ira Rycroft all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Ava and Ira Rycroft, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; special companions Seamus, Pippin, Pookie, Fergus and Coco.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Crab Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation.
