Barbara Ann Surratt age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday March 18, 2021 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Surratt was born in Carroll County, Virginia on March 16, 1937 to Lewis Paul and Lena McCraw Worrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Darrell Surratt.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Sandy and Mike Edwards of Lake Station Indiana; Sarah and Jason Mertz (Margie) of Belhaven, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Katie Strickland of Norfolk, Virginia; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held.
