Barbara Alean Sawyers' Obituary
Barbara Alean Sawyers age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Barbara was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 14, 1951 to Grover Cleveland and Ethel Bullins Isom.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Gloria and Lee Dooley; son Thomas Summey; sisters Carolyn Lundy, Brenda Bowers and Sylvia Haga all of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren Elizabeth Dooley and Shannon Dooley; special nieces and spouse Virginia Nester; Donna and Ken Lundy, special nephews and spouse Jeffrey Lundy; Joe and Anita Hanks.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday
from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
