Barbara Ann Parks Burcham age 76 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at her home.

Barbara was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 21, 1945 to Jackson Floyd and Della Mae Carpenter Parks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Robert Glenn Burcham, Sr.; great-grandson Aven Robert McCann; siblings Edward Parks; Olen Parks; Dorthea Melton; Ethel Melton and Billy Parks.

She is survived by her children and spouses Tena and Wayne Swinney of Woodlawn, Virginia; Robert Burcham, Jr. &  Kristen Hicks of Manassas, Virginia; Lema Mae and Dan Gates of Cana, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Nicole and Marc McCann; Crissa Swinney and fiancee' Katiana  Desgrottes; Amanda Burcham and fiance' Jake Hubert; Jake Burcham and Mason Glenn Gates; sisters Pauline Jackson and Peggy Isom both of Woodlawn, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Clyde and Darlene Parks; Truman and Dawn Parks; Roger and Frankie Parks all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Terri Gregory; the Rev. Richard Gregory and the Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Bishops Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

She was a great mother, grandmother and baby sitter. She loved crafting, meeting people, making her famous fudge that would put a smile on anyone's face.
