Barbara DeHainaut of Fries, Va., went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016.
She was born Oct. 6, 1930, at St. Albans, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late William Hudson and Rose Shumate Hudson.
She was a devoted Christian mother, wife and homemaker.
She was a member of Baywood Wesleyan Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen; sister, Betty; and brothers, Bill and Bradford.
Survivors include her husband, Charles DeHainaut; and children, Rosellen, Christopher, Richard, George Robert and Charlene.
A memorial service will be held March 5, 2016, at Baywood Wesleyan Church at 3 p.m.
She was in a national study for Alzheimer's at Baptist Medical Center and thus she donated her body for research and medical study.
She requested no flowers, but donations for memorial Bibles may be made to the Gideons - Fries Camp, P.O. Box 524, Fries, Va. 24330
