Barbara Lucille Combs age 66 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Waddell Nursing Home.
Barbara was born on May 18, 1943 in Carroll County, Virginia to Clyde Preston & Pearl Ann Sexton Combs.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Pamela & Duane Killman of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandson Michael Smythers; sisters Dorothy Hawkins of Galax, Virginia and Ruth Redd of Trinity, North Carolina; brother Pete Combs of Chicago, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Andy Edmonds, Rev. Bob Davis, Rev. Cas Horton and Associate Pastor Angie Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
