Barbara Harmon Chappell's Obituary
Barbara Harmon Chappell of Galax, Virginia passed away peacefully Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Dale Chappell, daughter Kelley Chappell; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Richard Horton; brother and sister-in-law Edward and Joan Harmon; sister-in-law Bonnie Hines Harmon; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax, Friday evening from six until eight. Barbara's funeral will be Saturday, July 9, at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Galax. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Angel Tree Fund, P.O. Box 445 Galax, Virginia 24333. The family request all food gifts be delivered to the First United Methodist Church Saturday morning.
