Barbara Ann Carico age 69 of Galax,Virginia passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Barbara was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 11, 1951 to Kermit and Christine Farmer Pearman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Donnie Pearman.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Carico of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Joanie and Shane Cochran of Clemons, North Carolina; two grandchildren Cody Cochran and Lucas Cochran; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Judy Pearman of Galax, Virginia; two nieces and their spouses Linda and Charles Weddle; Christine and Jason Ring.

A drive thru visitation will be held Saturday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Brian Frazier officiating.
