Barbara Ann Bond's Obituary
Barbara Ann Williams Bond age 62 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday morning in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Barbara was born on Spetmeber 30, 1949 in Carroll County, Virginia to Elmer and Dorothy Manuel Williams.
She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Bond of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter and husband Linda and Mike Carlan of Fries, Virginia; step-sons and spouses Dennis and Verna Bond; Wendell and Joy Bond all of Galax, Virginia; sister Sharon Walls of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Olan "Rich" and Wanda Williams of Galax, Virginia; Teddy Williams of Lawton, Oklahoma; Wayne Bradley of Hillsville, Virginia; ten step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a very special girl Nikki Gravley; very very special friend Edith Gravley.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Billy Redd and Rev. Bobby Akers officating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
