Barbara Ann Johnson known as Tootie Johnson age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday February 28, 2023 at her home.

Tootie was born in Galax, Virginia on July 5, 1953, to Marion McKinley and Irene Funk Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Glenn Johnson.

She is survived by her brother Randy Bell of Galax, Virginia; one niece Chrissy Marshall; one nephew Brent Bell all of Galax, Virginia; great-nieces Jaelyn Bell; Cassie Marshall; Izzie Marshall and Mariah Stevens; great-nephews Briley Marshall; Brody Hodge and Chase Stevens; special friends Patty Hampton and Anita Aldred.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Vale Cemetery with Pastor James Billings officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
