Barbara B. Adams age 66 of Mt. Airy, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2006 in Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born in Galax, Va. on April 4, 1940 to James & Reva Tolliver Boyer. In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Adams of Mt. Airy, N.C.; sons & daughters-in-law John & Becky Adams, Jr.; Jimmy & Missy Adams all of Galax, Va.; sisters Janie Collier, Kathy Harris & Joyce Phillips all of Mt. Airy, N.C.; brother Jimmy Boyer of Mt. Airy, N.C.; seven grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from one until two before the service at First Baptist Church.
