Bannie Mae Jennings, age 90, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday October 4, 2025 in her residence.

Bannie was born on September 15, 1935 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Lewis Ellis and Pearl Farmer Sharp. She was also preceded in death by her husband Guy Wilford Jennings; grandsons Joshua Frost and Larry Scott Golding; as well as her special aunt Amelia Sharp.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Ernie Golding of Galax, Virginia, Rhonda and Stuart Testerman of Galax, Virginia, Sherry and Donald Frost of Fancy Gap, Virginia; grandchildren Kristie Dudley, Kimberly Golding and Benny Balakrishnan, Cory and Halleigh Golding, Matthew Testerman, Heather and Brian Brewbaker; great grandchildren William Dudley, Wynti Dudley, Vada Louise Golding, and Cori Mae Golding. As well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday October 8, 2025 at 2:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Thernon Phillips and Pastor Michael Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 1:00PM until the time of service.
