- Ayako, "Bo","Aiko" Hunt was born in Kekaha, HI on the island of Kauai. She stepped into the light of paradise from her home in Woodlawn, VA, Saturday September 10th, 2022 at 95 years of age. She was preceded in death by husband Wallace Hunt, parents Yuso & Kame Oshiro, sisters Edith Chiyomi Kamida, Shigeko Eguchi, Katsuko Oshiro & brothers Yuken Oshiro & Albert Mitsuo Oshiro. She is survived by her beloved sister Gladys Hideko Akasaki of Mililani HI, daughter Lori "Chee-Chee" Halle, son Monte Carl White, daughter & son- in-law Sabrina White-Martin & Ralph Rowe of Galax VA, grandson Samuel Martin of Graham WA, step granddaughters Denise Brown of Roanoke VA, Elizabeth Rowe Johnson & husband Marshall Johnson of Radford VA, step great grandchildren Darian Brown, Cameron Brown & Essence Brown of VA, many loving nieces and nephews in HI & CA and dear friends. She lived an AMAZING & full life. She had a very strong work ethic & desire to be as active as possible. Employed as a dietician in Orlando, FL at a training center, many years at the Big Chief Market & 30 years at Beverly Blue Ridge/Galax Health & Rehabilitation Nursing Home, Galax VA where she retired at 85 years of age. She lived an AMAZING, full life & was loved by everyone who knew her.
