Audrey Faye Shupe Clyburn's Obituary
Audrey Faye Shupe Clyburn age 81 of Elk Creek, Virginia passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Mrs. Shupe was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 19, 1929 to Herbert and Nora White Shupe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Edward Clyburn, Sr..
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Lisa Clyburn; Becky and Greg Martin all of Fries, Va.; son and daughter-in-law Ed and Kelly Clyburn of Wytheville, Va.; grandchildren Dakota Martin, Emily Martin and Samuel Martin; step-grandchildren Anna Stephenson, Vince Hagy and Nick Hagy; brother John Phipps Shupe of Stokesdale, N.C.; sisters-in-law Clara Shupe of Galax, Va., Kinnie Shupe of Fries, Va., Brenda Shupe of Madison, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 in the Fries Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Rick Watson, Rev. Tony Vaughan and Janet Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at the Fries Church of God of Prophecy.
