Ashley Danielle Lanier age 29 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Galax, Virginia.

Ashley was born on September 4, 1989 in Jacksonville, Florida to Donald Bryan Lanier and Rhonda Jane Clark Lanier.

Ashley is survived by her mother and husband Rhonda and Chris Thompson; daughters Kya Rayne Brewer and Kynleigh Wren Brewer; father of the children Matthew Brewer; step-father William Nelson all of Galax, Virginia; sister Amber Michelle Lanier of Bristol, Tennessee; brother Caynan Nelson of Galax, Virginia; maternal grandparents Jane and James Bayzen; Major "Buck" Clark all of Burgaw, North Carolina; paternal grandmother Jo Lanier of Maple Hill, North Carolina; nephew Parker Stone Fiducioso;  special friend Nicci Windhom; uncles Mike Lanier of Maple Hill, North Carolina; David Lanier of Fayetteville, North Carolina ; aunts and uncles Margie and Daniel Jordan; Amy and Ashley Anderson; Felicia and Bradley Hern; cousins  Samantha, Allison, Andrew, Patrick, Zachary, Austin and Ida-Jane.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. the family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
