Arthur Eugene Blevins age 79 of Independence, Va. passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. Mr. Blevins was born on May 26,1928 in Grayson County, Va. to Gold Jackson & Dorothy Dixon Blevins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Annie Lou Blevins. He is survived by a son & daughter-in-law Art & Karen Blevins of New Port Richey, Florida; brother Joe Thomas Blevins of Fries, Va.; three grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 11:00 am in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
