Arthur Fred Alley's Obituary
Arthur Fred Alley age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Alley was born on April 28, 1918 in Carroll County, Virginia to Thomas and Mozelle Frazier Alley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Alley.
He is survived by a step-daughter and her husband Betty & Bob Norman of Woodstock, Va.; step-grandson Norman Crowder; brother Sanford Alley of Carroll County, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jay Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 pm until service time at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
