Arlene J. Sheets age 81 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Sheets was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on March 25, 1935 to Roy and Maude Greer Mayberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Clay Sheets.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Brenda Shupe of Independence, Virginia; Joan and Stanley Moore of Quarryville, Pennsylvania; Christine Krieder of Martic Heights, Pennsylvania; Cindy and Mickey Miller of Kirkwood, Pennsylvania; sons Randall Sheets and Mark Sheets both of Woodlawn, Virginia; sisters Nellie Moore and Helen Edwards both of Northeast, Maryland; brothers Earl Mayberry of Independence, Virginia; Paul Mayberry of Pocono, Pennsylvania; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
