Arlene Lillian Crouse age 91 of Rocky Mount, Virginia and formerly of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the Franklin House and Rehab Center in Rocky Mount, Virginia.

Mrs. Crouse was born in Galax, Virginia on May 20, 1925 to Kelly Franklin and Leona Amburn Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Crouse and sons Tom Robert Crouse, Steve Crouse and Van Ray Crouse; two sisters Nancy Helen Joines and Edna Ruth Beck.

She is survived by her daughter by choice and husband Jeannette and James Moxley of Boones Mill, Virginia; special niece Jane Jackson of Texas; grandchildren Dana Crouse and Mark Crouse of Mesa, Arizona and their beloved mother Barbara Crouse; sister Mary Delp of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Snow Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Smith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
