Argie Nell McGrady age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at her home.
Mrs. McGrady was born in Carroll County (Woodlawn) Virginia on May 30, 1937 to Monte and Alma Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Wallene Hill and Pearl Spraker.
She was a dedicated member of Snow Hill Baptist Church for over five decades.
She is survived by her husband Louis B. McGrady, Jr. of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Gloria Stykes McGrady of Somerset, Kentucky; grandson Garrett McGrady; great-grandson Eliah McGrady.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 12:00 PM in the Snow Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the Snow Hill Baptist Church.
